      <description>&lt;span class="paragraphSection"&gt;A growing body of literature suggests the benefit of bilateral cochlear implantation over unilateral implantation, in particular with respect to sound localization and language development. These studies support the belief of physicians, audiologists, and also the parents, who see their children with bilateral implants outperforming their peers with a unilateral implant.&lt;/span&gt;</description>
