By examining the original and, in retrospect, incorrect diagnoses of some of the early cases, this report distinguishes those clinical features that may now permit the correct diagnosis of presently occurring cases. In addition, detailed suggestions for the management of infant botulism, derived from experience with a total of 50 proven hospitalized cases, are presented.(Am J Dis Child 133:586-593, 1979) SN - 0002-922X M3 - doi: 10.1001/archpedi.1979.02130060026004 UR - http://dx.doi.org/10.1001/archpedi.1979.02130060026004 ER -
