N2  - Michael Balint, a serious and yet popular writer in the field of psychoanalysis, has created a new book based on a commonly observed dichotomy—that of the difference between the individual who enjoys, participates in, and becomes a very real part of the exciting thrills of a carnival, and the other individual who shrinks, clings, and tries to avoid all the exciting rides.
