Greenfield, whose untimely death occurred shortly after the first edition became available.In the initial chapters, the normally encountered histologic structures are carefully described. The spectrum of fundamental changes exhibited by ganglion cells under the influence of numerous agencies is also elaborated. In conjunction with this chapter, there is a lucid description of the various forms of particulate intracellular structures (inclusion bodies) characteristic of the central nervous system.
