You are absolutely correct that we should have cited the exact preparation of lanolin we used in this study. We did indeed use your product, Lansinoh cream from Lansinoh Laboratories Inc, Oak Ridge Tenn, for precisely the reasons you cited in your letter. The modified lanolin has a much-decreased allergenic potential and is preferred over a nonmodified variety. We apologize for the oversight.
