    Meeting of Pediatric Section.—At the forthcoming annual session of the American Medical Association, to be held in New York City June 10 to 14, 1940, the Section on Pediatrics will have its headquarters and hold its meetings at the Waldorf-Astoria. The banquet of the section, on June 13, will also be held at that hotel.SOCIETY NEWS 
    American Orthopsychiatric Association.—The seventeenth annual meeting of the American Orthopsychiatric Association, an organization for the study and treatment of behavior and its disorders, will be held at the Hotel Statler, Boston, on Feb. 22 to 24, 1940. Dr. Norvelle C. LaMar, 149 East Seventy-Third Street, New York, is secretary.DEATHS 
    Dr. Isidor H. Tumpeer, an attending pediatrician at Michael Reese Hospital, and head of the department of pediatrics at Post Graduate Hospital, Chicago, died on November 29 at the age of 46 years.
