AB • Yersinia pseudotuberculosis septicemia and postdiarrheal hemolytic-uremic syndrome (HUS) developed in a 15-month-old boy after he ingested unpasteurized goat's milk. The epidemiology of this organism and the disease states caused by it are discussed with the suggestion that an association between it and some cases of the HUS might be found if sought.(Am J Dis Child 133:623-624, 1979)
