To my pleasant surprise, this assumption was far too restrictive. It is a remarkable volume which with excellent editorship brings together a great many interests affecting the child, particularly pointing the direction in which research in child life is rapidly developing. To best illustrate this point I was so impressed as to how the information contained in the volume cut through the entire pediatric department that I gave it department circulation.
