AB The names of these authors are well known in the field of nutrition and have been for decades. Readers of their many publications know in advance what to expect from them: a piece of work well conceived, well executed, and interestingly discussed. The present publication is no exception to the rule. This booklet is a collection of presentations and discussions held at a conference in April 1967 in Cambridge, England as a memorial to the late R. F. A. Dean.
