AB SEVENTH nerve palsy of undetermined origin (Bell's palsy) is a common disease1; however, to our knowledge, it has not been seen in the neonatal period.2 We are reporting a case of unilateral Bell's palsy in an infant 1 month 4 days of age.A search of the literature reveals the report of a 9-month-old infant with this syndrome,3 but in another report of seventh nerve paralysis in ten children, the youngest patient was 2 years old.4Report of a Case 
    A Negro girl was born at term at Charity Hospital on Aug 17, 1963. Her birth weight was 3,120 gm (6 lb 14 ounces). Fetal position was left occipito-anterior; presentation was vertex; and the delivery was spontaneous without complications. There was no evidence of seventh nerve palsy during her nursery stay, and she was discharged from the nursery in good condition on the fourth day.At
