RT Journal T1 Mrcp (paediatrics): Paediatric picture tests JF Archives of Pediatrics & Adolescent Medicine JO Archives of Pediatrics & Adolescent Medicine YR 1999 FD March 1 VO 153 IS 3 SP 314 OP 315 DO UL http://dx.doi.org/ AB Pictures form an important part of the American Board of Pediatrics examination and are usually considered to be the most difficult and tricky component of the examination. There can be no substitute for hands-on clinical experience, yet it is impossible to expect the training physicians to be able to encounter the wide range of diseases seen in pediatrics in their short residency period. A picture is a good alternative learning tool. Although written primarily for the British system of examinations (as evident by the title that spells Paediatrics), the book is a useful adjunct to those preparing for any pediatric examination.
