Fish is brain food!" She dosed us with tablespoons full of black, viscous cod liver oil whenever our parents weren't around. Dr Stordy, a former senior lecturer in nutrition at the University of Surrey in England, is similarly enthusiastic about the potential for long-chain polyunsaturated fatty acids (LCPs) contained in marine fish oils to ameliorate (and possibly prevent) attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), dyslexia, and dyspraxia.
