This congress was sponsored and supported by several organizations, including the American Rheumatism Association, the United States Public Health Service and the Arthritis and Rheumatism Foundation, the last being established in 1948.A number of official delegates were appointed. Dr. W. S. C. Copeman, of London, England, who also spoke at the congress on Thursday, June 2, on fibrositis, was the delegate from Great Britain. Dr. Fernando H.
