AB This monograph contains fifteen articles on the control of hemorrhagic shock and is an endeavor to bring the newer knowledge in this field into correlated channels. These articles include reports on coagulation and blood clotting in general, both under normal conditions and under the influence of drugs, by means of surveys of the circulatory phenomena associated with hemorrhage. The subject matter is presented in a concise and readable manner. The articles are profusely illustrated with tables, graphs and photomicrographs. Both the clinician and the experimentalist present their observations, which are made more interesting by the inclusion of the discussion at the academy's conference on hemorrhage. This volume should be read with profit by all those interested in the subject of coagulation.
