AB This is a reprint of a series of papers presented at a conference on current trends in clinical psychology, held by the Section on Psychology of the New York Academy of Sciences.The articles are principally devoted to a discussion of the differences between the so-called directive and nondirective technics in psychotherapy and the uses of group psychotherapy and psychodrama. The essayists are adherents of these respective technics and are prominent in the field of clinical psychology. The relation of clinical psychology to medical psychiatry is set forth in the final paper of this series.This pamphlet has more historic than practical value for the physician. It may be of interest to those who have had training and experience in psychotherapy.
