AB This is the second edition of this book, but it has been entirely rewritten to meet the new curriculum adopted by the National League of Nursing Education. For this reason it is especially a book for student nurses in nursing schools. It is divided into three parts. The first part deals with the normal infant and child, and this is not a tiresome reiteration of old subjects but what the authors believe is most useful to the trained nurse. Part 2 describes the technical work in the treatment of diseases of infants and children. This includes work both in the home and in the hospital. Part 3 outlines and describes the various procedures used in the technical care of infants.The book is well written, and the illustrations are excellently chosen.
