AB Dr. Pryll goes extensively into the economical administration of health insurance benefits for recipients of medical care under a health insurance plan. A brief abstract of this article is hardly possible because of the many instances in which the medical care required may be both extensive and varied. Under the general title of health benefits, the author enumerates extensively the need of giving attention, first of all, to the diagnosis of the illness of the particular patient. He emphasizes with frequent repetition the absolute need of taking cognizance of all the various factors, physiologic, psychologic, and biologic, that enter into the correct diagnosis of the illness of any person. It is essential to arrive at a correct diagnosis before therapy in any of its varied forms can be intelligently instituted.
