AB This book is excellently commentated, well printed and well illustrated. It is the second edition of a valuable book on medical history. From a pediatric standpoint one could wish that more attention had been given to some pediatric conditions. Few are mentioned as such. However, the book is complete from the standpoint of internal medicine and is well written. In many instances translations from various languages of the original description of the disease are given.
