AB The author presents general conceptions of the condition and problems of treatment, with an excellent anatomic discussion. He then discusses various forms of therapy, mechanical, chemical and biologic. The methods and results of treatment are well covered. Dr. Escardo favors the type of endocrine therapy advocated by Lewis in 1933. This is discussed in detail, with numerous illustrations from the author's own cases. The plates of histologic sections are excellent. The book should be read in full.
