The slogan is "The health of the child is the power of the nation." The object is to bring to the attention of each community the importance to the child's health, development and well-being throughout life of proper food, rest, exercise, medical care and protection against disease; the ways of informing parents and others how child health may be safeguarded, and the means whereby such safeguards may be made available for all children.American Board of Pediatrics.—The American Board of Pediatrics will hold examinations on November 14 and 15, in Cincinnati, preceding the annual meeting of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
