It is devoted exclusively to the study of the anatomic and clinical forms of pulmonary tuberculosis in infants from the first month to the eleventh year of life. The first two thirds of the book is devoted to the various forms of the lesions with a microscopic study of the anatomy involved. This is done thoroughly. The remainder of the book presents the different aspects of the infection through the different age periods. Prophylaxis and vaccination occupy a scant three pages, and treatment five pages. The work of Calmette is dismissed with a short paragraph. While the pathology is thoroughly discussed, nothing particularly new is added to the general knowledge of the disease.
