This volume is the result of an international effort to create a comprehensive approach to the management of visual disabilities in children. The expertise of contributors from Great Britain, Europe, the United States, and Canada is used. The editors have recognized that children with visual impairments present one of the greatest challenges to health and education professionals, as well as to the family and its interaction with society.
