ABSTRACT

At their third international symposium, the Society for the Study of Behavioural Phenotypes in conjunction with SNZB (Maastricht) will present "Brain and Behaviour: The Mechanisms of Expression of Behavioural Phenotypes" at Congrescentrum Rolduc, the Netherlands, November 23-26, 1994.

The main focus of the society's interest is the specific behavioral attributes of different genetically determined mentally handicapping disorders and their definition, determination, and treatment. In addition to presentations on the behavioral, cognitive, and genetic aspects of specific syndrome disorders, this meeting will include invited and free papers on aspects of neuropathology, neuroimaging, and neuropsychopharmacology that are relevant to the subject. The meeting will conclude with a workshop on ethical considerations.
