The cover of this extensive (640-page) book will likely be remembered for its pictures of geese, reflecting the author's hobby of raising domestic and wild geese. Dr Levine also markets a number of developmental screening tests (PEER, PEEX) under the logo Anser, the Latin word for goose.

Anyone who has ever heard Mel Levine speak about children with developmental disorders knows that he is a captivating and articulate teacher.
