In Reply.—I must thank Dr Friedma[ill] for reading our article so thoroughl[ill] His point on succinylcholine being depolarizing agent is true. Our orig[ill] inal draft had read as follows: ". [ill he administration of volatile ane[ill] thetics and depolarizing and no[ill] depolarizing muscle relaxants durin[ill] anesthesia. Agents most often imp[ill] cated are halothane and succinylcho line." Unfortunately, in the final draf[ill] prepared by us, the meaning of th[ill] sentence was changed. Nondepolariz[ill] ing agents have been rarely implicate in the induction of MH and therefor[ill] are often used safely.
