Mark my words: with all the medical breakthroughs taking place nowadays, it's just a matter of time before the medical profession realizes that one serious (and universal) pathological condition has gone unnoticed. I refer, of course, to parenthood. Why, when immunology has become a precise science and oncology is at the cutting edge of discoveries, has there been no attention paid to parentology? With millions of adults stumbling around in exhaustion at work after being up all night with colicky babies or suffering claustrophobia from driving kids around town all day or growing deaf from stereoitis, it seems obvious to me that these chronic sufferers need medical help right now.
