Kreutner and Hollingsworth have edited a book that provides a large array of facts dealing with adolescent obstetrics and gynecology and arrange them into a clearly-written, well-organized, multi-authored textbook.
As noted in the preface, this book developed out of "a shared concern over the well-being of the pregnant adolescent." This, in fact, is the basic strength of this book—to discuss the many facets of the pregnant adolescent from a thorough point of view. For the clinician caring for pregnant teenagers, this is a much needed and valuable book.
