ABSTRACT

This book is designed to answer the many questions that parents may have about their child with seizure disorders. I think it is a useful contribution and believe that the information presented is solid, and controversial issues receive a balanced discussion. The information is presented in a question-and-answer format. At first, I had some reservations about this approach, but, on reflection, I think it will be a useful method of dealing with the issues that are foremost in parents' minds. The potential problem with this format relates to the ease with which the reader can find the answer to a particular question. Chapter headings are of some value in this regard, but the major dependence therefore is on the index. I decided to test the index with a few mock subjects, and found that it led me to the right place. I have little doubt that this will be
