ABSTRACT

Symposium on Infection-Prone Patient.—A symposium entitled "The Infection-Prone Hospital Patient: Identification of Patients of Increased Risk; The Problem in Host Defense; Measures for Correction of Defects" will be held at the Shriners Burns Institute, Boston, Oct 20 through 22, 1975. Cosponsors are Shriners Burns Institute, Massachusetts General Hospital, and Harvard Medical School. For further information, contact John F. Burke, MD, Chief of Staff, Shriners Burns Institute, 51 Blossom St, Boston, MA 02114.

International Symposium on Adrenal Hyperplasia.—An international symposium on the "Treatment of Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia: A Quarter of a Century Later" will be held in Baltimore, Oct 20 through 24, 1975, and will be sponsored by the Division of Pediatric Endocrinology, the Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions.

The meeting will be an open one, and anyone who would like to attend is invited to do so. There will be a registration fee that will cover only those expenses
