ABSTRACT

Fellowship in Medical Genetics.—Postdoctoral fellowships at the University of North Carolina are available, through a National Institutes of Health training award, for physicians interested in a career in medical genetics. Trainees may emphasize human biochemical genetics; clinical genetics, including antenatal diagnosis, genetic counseling, and the genetics of common disease; genetics of coagulation defects; cell culture study of inherited enzyme defects or of alterations of cell membranes; or cytogenetics.

Candidates must be citizens or permanent residents of the United States and be eligible for medical license in the State of North Carolina. Fellowships may be held for two or three years.
