Roentgenographic Calcifications in Carcinoma of the Thyroid FREE

Calcifications were detected on roentgenography of the neck in a 5-year-old girl with a thyroid nodule. The lesion was subsequently found to be a papillary adenocarcinoma of the thyroid containing psammoma bodies. We found roentgenography of the neck to be useful in the differential diagnosis of thyroid nodules.
