ABSTRACT

Dr. Heinz Karger Prize 1974.—The prize that is awarded every year in memory of Heinz Karger, the well-known Basel, Switzerland, publisher, for an outstanding scientific work has in 1974 been conferred to M. H. Lader (London) for his paper, "The Peripheral and Central Role of the Catecholamines in the Mechanisms of Anxiety."

The Dr. Heinz Karger Memorial Foundation invites the submission of the following papers: in 1975, an original research paper on "Geographical Pathology of Non-Degenerative Vascular Diseases in Man"; and in 1976, an original research paper on "Methods for the Early Diagnosis of Genetic Disorders."

Manuscripts shall not exceed 20 typewritten pages, including illustrations, tables, and bibliography. Manuscripts marked "Competition" must reach the publishers, S. Karger AG, Arnold-Böcklin-Strasse 25, CH-4011 Basel, Switzerland, not later than Feb 28, 1975 and 1976. The manuscript must be typewritten on one side only, double spaced, and is to be submitted in quadruplicate,
