Thirteenth International Congress of Pediatrics, Vienna, Aug 29-Sept 4, 1971.—This congress has been organized under the auspices of the International Pediatric Association. An introductory lecture will be presented on five principal subjects: perinatology, nutrition and gastroenterology, neurology and psychiatry, immunology, and genetics. These lectures will be followed by symposia and colloquia.
The scientific program will consist of the following sections: infectious diseases and microbiology, metabolism and biochemistry, endocrinology, cardiology and pulmonology, nephrology-urology, hematology, pharmacology, social pediatricshealth statistics, malignant diseases, growth and development, surgery, orthopedics, radiology, modern techniques and technology, and problems of adolescence.
In addition, there will be a workshop on nutrition organized by Dr.Thomas Stapleton, Royal Alexandra Hospital for Children, Camperdown, New South Wales, Australia; a colloquium on pediatric education organized by Dr. W. B. Macdonald, Princess Margaret Hospital for Children, Perth, Australia, and Dr. L. Torres Barbosa
