Pediatrics Postgraduate Course.—A post-graduate course entitled "Growth, Pediatric Endocrinology, and Metabolism" will be presented by the Department of Pediatrics, The Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore, with the sponsorship of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dates for the course are April 14 to 16, 1969, with an optional additional two days on the 17th and 18th. The course will be directed by Dr. Robert Blizzard and the topics covered during the first three days will include sexual differentiation, normal and abnormal; variations of adolescent development; and the thyroid, adrenal, and pituitary glands, their usual and some unusual functions. The topics covered during the two optional days will include obesity, calcium, and phosphorous metabolism; carbohydrate metabolism; and clinical case presentations with discussions.
