ABSTRACT

Symposium.—Cystic Fibrosis and Related Human and Animal Diseases will be the subject of a symposium to be held Feb 29 to March 2, 1968, at the Sheraton-Atlantic Hotel, Broadway at 34th St, New York.

The meeting is being sponsored by the National Cystic Fibrosis Research Foundation in cooperation with the National Institute of Arthritis and Metabolic Diseases. Dr. Harry Shwachman, Clinical Professor, Department of Pediatrics, Harvard Medical School, will serve as chairman.

Postgraduate Course on Connective Tissue Diseases.—A course will be presented by the Department of Pediatrics, University of Chicago School of Medicine and the LaRabida-University of Chicago Institute with the sponsorship of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
