ABSTRACT

In the article "Septicemia in Premature Infants" published in the July issue of the Journal, the following corrections should be made.

Page 33: Section H, line 5, the number in parentheses after cyanosis should read 40 instead of 4.

Page 34: In Table 8 there should be an asterisk (*) behind the figure 3.4 in that line describing the influence of prenatal care in the 2001-2500 gram infants.

Page 36: Column 1, line 7, the first reference should be 26, not 25. Section N, the first sentence should read: "Forty percent of the infants with septicemia who died, died during the initial day of illness and more than half of the infants who died, died within 48 hours of the onset of symptoms;... In Table 16, under the heading Other, N=10, not 101. Also in this table the correct figure for the use of novobiocin in infants with gram-negative septicemia should
