ABSTRACT

ANNOUNCEMENTS  Pediatrics Research Training Program Offered at the University of Colorado Medical Center.—Applications are invited for research training fellowships in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Colorado Medical Center. These fellowships are for one or two years and are primarily to prepare those who have completed their residency training for careers in academic pediatrics. All fellows will be expected to take a formal course, Perspectives in Biological Sciences, designed to bring them up to date with modern thought in the basic sciences and in the application of mathematics to medicine. Additionally, they will have opportunities to develop and carry out original work and acquire additional clinical experience in one of the following subspecialties: microbiology, endocrinology, metabolic diseases, hematology, immunology, neurology, genetics, diseases special to the newborn, cardiology, respiratory disease, gastroenterology, and adolescent medicine. Salaries are at the rate of $6,000 per annum plus $500 per annum for each
