Correct answers are supplied in a key in the back of the book, and the author's authority for the correctness of the answer given is indicated by a numbered reference and page following each question. Twenty-eight references are listed—all standard texts in current use by recognized authorities. The 1,300 questions are divided into 19 sections, the first section covering Full-Term and Premature Newborns, and the last section Human Genetics. In between are sections on Infectious Diseases, Hematology, Endocrinology, Dermatology, Allergy, Adolescence, and twelve others.
