ABSTRACT

To the Editor: It has been brought to our attention that a statement we made in our article entitled, "An Outpatient-Oriented Pediatric Residency" in the American Journal Diseases of Children for February was not quite correct. The statement is on page 118 and reads, "In 1959 a survey questionnaire was forwarded to pediatricians throughout the country under the aegis of the American Academy of Pediatrics." The reference is given as Reference 1. This survey was done actually not under the aegis of the American Academy of Pediatrics but through the University of Washington, Department of Pediatrics, by Dr. Aldrich.
