Southern Society for Pediatric Research.—The third Annual Meeting of the Southern Society for Pediatric Research will be held in Gainesville, Fla., on Nov. 9 and 10, 1962. GENERAL NEWS
Toxicon.—A new international journal devoted to reporting original research on the chemical, toxicological, and immunological properties of the toxins derived from the tissues of plants and animals will soon be published by Pergamon Press. The journal will be known as Toxicon and will be edited by Dr. Findlay E. Russell of Loma Linda University, Los Angeles, and Dr. Paul R. Saunders of the University of Southern California. An Editorial Board composed of 30 outstanding biologists and physicians active in the field of animal and plant toxins has recently been selected. Manuscripts for publication in Toxicon are now being considered.
