Training in Infectious Disease—Tulane.—A training program in infectious disease is being offered jointly by the Departments of Pediatrics and Tropical Medicine and Public Health of the Tulane University School of Medicine. This program is designed for pediatricians, as well as for microbiologists and for physicians interested primarily in public health problems. It provides opportunities for theoretical training in biostatistics, epidemiology, microbiology, parasitology, mycology, as well as laboratory, clinical, and field experience in infectious disease and tuberculosis in children both in the United States and overseas.
