The first sentence of the Summary and Conclusions, page 341, of the article, "A Critical Evaluation of Renal Biopsy in Children," by Dr. Neil N. Litman and others in the September issue states: "Percutaneous renal biopsies were performed on 20 children and the tissue viewed under the light and electron microscope." This should have stated that renal biopsies were performed on 50 children.
In Table 3, pages 326 and 327, of this same article the division, Subacute or Chronic, should include Case 11. In the footnotes to the table, expansion of RBC and Cr. should read as follows:
RBC = red blood cells per 12 hr. period (Addis count) in millions (normal<500,000) or graded 1+ to 4+.
Cr. = creatinine (mg. per 100 ml.)
