Postgraduate Course in Contagious and Communicable Diseases.—The New York Medical College, Metropolitan Medical Center, announces a postgraduate course in the contagious and communicable diseases, under the direction of Harold Abramson, M.D., Professor of Clinical Pediatrics. The course will meet in thirty sessions, Nov. 6, 1957, to May 28, 1958, Wednesdays, 10 a. m. to 3 p. m. The fee is $300.00.The course will consist of practical bedside instruction; ward rounds; laboratory and clinical procedures; lectures and seminars covering basic epidemiologic principles and newer advancements in the diagnosis, differential diagnosis, and treatment of children and adults with contagious and communicable diseases of bacterial, rickcttsial, and viral origin.
