This book is the first to appear in the Italian language dealing with the reeducation of the cerebral spastic child. In the bibliography most of the articles dealing with physiology are by French authors, while those dealing with the reeducation are by Americans. The Neurological Institute of Milan maintains a Center or School for Motor Reeducation; the activities in this Center afford the background for the apparatus, methods, and therapeutic results described; the charts used in this clinic are reproduced, together with a table tracing the normal motor, mental, linguistic, and social development of the child.
