"The ultimate aim of rehabilitation is to restore the handicapped individual to the fullest physical, mental, social, vocational, and economic usefulness of which he is capable."

"Cognizant of the ultimate complete rehabilitation of her patient, the nurse is obligated to acquire thorough understanding of posture techniques and she must develop the ability to apply the principles of good body alignment and correct positioning of the patient in all areas of nursing care."
