This is an excellent book written by 2 people with extensive experience in the field of grief. It is a thoughtful and well-written review of the authors' combined experiences in the treatment and research of grief.

This book is a "must read" for all medical practitioners and students. We spend so much time learning to diagnose and treat various diseases but we rarely are taught about the grief that surrounds a death. These days the news media are filled with details of disasters and death, so a more complete understanding of grief could be helpful for the lay public as well.
