Dr. Stuart S. Stevenson Given Research Professorship.—Dr. Stuart S. Stevenson, formerly assistant professor of child health at Harvard University, has accepted the appointment of research professor of pediatrics at the Children's Hospital, of Pittsburgh, and the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, effective Sept. 1, 1949.
Appointments Announced at Elizabeth Kenny Institute.—Dr. James F. Bosma, Minneapolis, assistant professor of pediatrics at University of Minnesota Medical School, and Dr. Bernard G. Lannin, St. Paul, in charge of orthopedics at the University of Minnesota Health Service, have become associated with the medical staff of Elizabeth Kenny Institute, in Minneapolis.
Announcement of the appointments was made by Dr. E. J. Huenekens, medical director of the Sister Elizabeth Kenny Foundation and chief of staff of Kenny Institute. Dr. Bosma will be in charge of pediatric service and Dr. Lannin of the orthopedic phases of care of patients with poliomyelitis at
