Soon after the first edition was published, it was reprinted in England, and in 1940 it was translated into Spanish and published in Madrid and Barcelona, Spain. While there are a number of cutaneous diseases peculiar only to infancy and childhood many of the adult dermatoses begin in early life. In this book there has been no attempt at scientific classification, and the various diseases are grouped partly on the basis of etiology, partly on the basis of pathology and partly on the basis of clinical similarity.
