The book consists of ten separate papers by different authors, covering different aspects of the field of nutrition in relationship to public health. These timely discussions by experts in their particular fields were presented at a conference sponsored by the Research Laboratory of the Children's Fund of Michigan, which has itself made many valuable contributions to knowledge, under the able directorship of Dr. Icie Macy Hoobler.
