SOCIETY NEWS Southern Medical Association.—Dr. Harvey F. Garrison, of Jackson, Miss., a well known pediatrician of Mississippi, has been elected president of the Southern Medical Association.

PERSONAL NEWS Dr. Horton R. Casparis Elected.—Dr. Horton R. Casparis, of Nashville, Tenn., has been elected president of the American Board of Pediatrics, to replace Dr. Borden S. Veeder, of St. Louis, whose term expires.
